April 27 and 28, 2019
This yearly event depends on ARASWF to provide contacts for Collier County, one of 67 counties providing a multiplier for the contest. It is a two 10-hour-day contest, with most of the action on Saturday starting around noon. ARASWF will set up at the Red Cross center using the tri-bander and a 40M antenna. Operators can sign up for one or more 1-hour time slots. SSB or CW.
ARASWF does not treat this as a high-pressure contest. We are just providing Collier County to 100s of our fellow hams who are either active in the QSO contest or active as a county hunter. Operators can participate as a single operator or as part of an operator/logger team. The N3FJP contest software is pretty easy to use. Non member guests are also invited to participate. Our participation will be dependent on the number of operators signed up.
